Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
We are a charity thrift store that sells furniture. Sometimes customers hire someone with a truck to pick up their furniture instead of driving a U Haul themselves. My CEO is concerned about a lawsuit if the driver were to get injured on our property. The drivers are not our employees. They come to pick up furniture for other people. If we discontinue this practice people will not have a way to get their furniture home unless they own their own truck.

I'm not sure what your exact question is, but the risk is the same for any invitee on the property. You can certainly reduce the chance of an accident by reducing the number of invitees, but you also have to consider the business (i.e. non-legal) effects. Your insurance should also cover this.
