Conflict of Interest - Board of Directors
Is there any law or statute prohibiting an employee from participating on a Board of Directors where their manager/superior is on the Board of Directors of a competing institution?

Conflict of interest between individuals, companies, one of each....?? Where does the employer fit in? Aside from those basic questions, the law concerning officers' and directors' duties are generally beyond the scope of this forum.
