Contract Question
My Question is about a puppy which cost $800 so the breeder wanted a deposit of $400. I sent him the $400 for the pup . When it was time for the female to have the puppys the breeder said she miscarried and that my deposit will go toward another breeding, All I want is my money back I wanted a specific pup from this male and female not something he telling me I have to take. How can I go about getting my money??

Re: Contract Question
We don't know the terms of your original agreement, and you did not provide any details (other than the amount of the deposit). These are details which should have been discussed and agreed upon from the beginning.
Re: Contract Question
You can take him to small claims court, but you will have to prove that you agreed with the owner that you wanted "a particular pup" rather that just "a pup".
