Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
Copywrite Law
I wrote a recipe column for a magazine and now the magazine is using the recipes that were sent to me under their heading.
Nothing was ever signed giving them rights to reuse any portion of my column. Do I have a case?

Re: Copywrite Law
More facts are necessary, but in many (perhaps most) cases, absent a contract, submissions to publications become THEIR copywrited property. They may even be able to keep you from re-printing the article in another publication/forum. See a lawyer if it is that big of an issue.
