Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
corporate takeover with a divorce and BK thrown in the mix.
husband and wife own successful company 50/50. wife has affair with employee. husb has nervous breakdown. through a series of very questionable legal moves wife takes over company, fires husband, has husb arrested for entering premises, and files ch 11 bk while he is in jail. he finally files for divorce upon release. now the building is for sale (company's biggest asset), the divorce is still pending and he wants to take some kind of action but she has the protection of the bankruptcy court. he is owed lost wages (approx 150k). he also owns 50% of the company, but she is trying to devalue his stockn so he doesn't get anything. and she is under the protection of te bankruptcy court so supposedly anything he does would be a violation of the stay. she has all the money at her disposal. he has nothing, and i mean NOTHING, we are borrowing money to live right now. it is 10 times more complicated than this but it's a start. we don't know what to do because we have no money to even get any legal advice. she has taken the company from #7 in the nation to maybe 3 million a year tops. the only thing that drives this wholething is her anger at him over him leaving her after her affair. its 10000x more complicated but what can we do?!?!?!?!?

Like Scott said, there's really no options here other than to get a lawyer. There are some attorneys who will handle business disputes on a contingency or blended rate (part hourly and part contingency) basis, but it sounds far too complex for a board such as this.
You will probably want a lawyer who concentrates in business litigation and business fraud.
The foregoing is general information only, not specific legal advice. No attorney/client relationship has been created or should be implied.

Business takeovers, Chapter 11, arrests, "1000 more complicated than posted" .... I can tell you what NOT to do -- handle these matters through a consumer message board like this. There is no way around getting a lawyer for this one.
