Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
Counter-Sueing
We (a business) recently won a case where a customer was sueing us because of a used motor they purchased from a salvage yard that we installed for them and 45 days later and 800 miles the motor ran hot. Now they have filed an appeal to the State Court. Can we Counter-Sue them for the time we are having to close the office and shop to be in court?

Re: Counter-Sueing
The counterclaim should have been filed in the original case. You cannot file a counterclaim in an appeal.
