Cut in salary
I work in a county school system. the school is closing and i will be given another job .I will go from bookkeeper to para pro. There will be a great cut in pay. Can they do this??

You provide no reason, such as a contract, that they would NOT be able to do it. The alternative is often to lose the job entirely.
