Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
I own an ecommerce site that sells hair. My ex-business partner also runs a competing site and from time to time I will sell her merchandise (overlooking her lack of integrity). On 2/11/16 I sold her $2328 worth of merchandise because I was moving overseas. I allowed her to pay $800 and she said she would pay the balance before I left. My departure was 2/28/16. Of course she didn't pay and avoided my calls and texts. What is the best way to handle this since I am now out of the country?

You'll have to sue her and the bad news is that you might still not collect and you'll be paying for at least one flight back to court. Since attorney's fees exceed what you'd sue for you'd file in small claims (magistrate) court.
