Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
Employee Pay
I have a friend who works For a company based out of his home state and relocated to another stata for six months to help out the company and has been with the company for 4 weeks and has not been paid a cent. One Wednesday the 11th he told them he was going to quit so they offered him a large sum of money to stay and said her would get said money on the 13th of February but again the lied and he has not received any money from them. What should his legal course of action be?

Re: Employee Pay
I would very much like to discuss this matter with your friend. There are a number of Florida and federal statutes relating to overtime and minimum wage provision that the company may be violating, and your friend would have recourse against the company.
Please let your friend know that I would be interested in discussing his possible options with him further.
