Old employer (8 months ago)
They are using and monitoring my old company e-mail address well after I have been gone. Is that legal.

It is generally legal for a company to review and monitor its own property, including email servers, computers and accounts.

However, if they are sending e-mails under the guise that it is from you, that would not be proper.
