Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
I filled for dispossessory and listed unpaid rent, renters answer to the magistratefilling was a claim for $25000 for suffering. The court sent it to State Court and my dispossessory will not be heard at the court date I was given. What can I do, since this could take a long time and the state court may not be able to grant possesion?

The maximum amount in magistrate court is $15,000. Dismiss the action and refile back in magistrate court, and without the frivolous amounts for "suffering."
