Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
Final check short $120 with no notice
A friend turned in his 2 week notice. It was accepted. When he went in to get his final check, it was $120 less than it should have been. He was told it was for training the company paid for. He ws told when he resigned that he would have to pay for this. It was manditory training for the job. Is it legal to take his money this way?

We do not know the terms of your friend's agreement. Maybe your friend can post with the first-hand details.
