Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
My husband was just hired part-time at two different businesses, Publix and WalMart. Publix just informed him that he can't work at WalMart if he is employed by Publix. Is this legal when he has a family to feed? Is this grounds for discrimination?

It's legal, and the answer is obvious. Wal-Mart is a competitor of Publix. Neither company is going to let someone work for a competitor.
