Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
My husband passed away in June of this year. In 2013 he and a friend started started a 50/ 50 business together. They became a 1120 incorporation and received a tax identifitication#. The partner and accountant are telling me im entitled to nothing. And now he is not renewing the registration for the business. Am I entitled to my husbands half of this company? If so how do I handle this and do I need to take action before the registration expires on December 7?

No one who has not read the corporate paperwork, and who has reviewed your husband's will, if he had one, can answer you. You clearly need t see a lawyer and are 6 months overdue on something where you may face strict time deadlines for some of your rights.
