Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
If I had a lease agreement with Aarons rentals and I had a break in to my apartment, filed police report and filed claim with rentals insurance am I still liable for payments on an item I no longer have? (laptop)
I need to know my legal rights... please help

Your rights are found in your contract, but you tell us nothing about what it says. Does it say you get out of payments if you lose the property (through theft or otherwise)? That would not be very likely.

Your rights are in your contract, which we have not seen.
If you do have rental insurance as you say, make a claim and they should pay according to the terms of the insurance.
