does an LLC in Georgia with 1 member and 0 employees need to obtain workers comp insurance or file unemployment tax?

You would not be required to carry workers comp insurance, but you do still have to pay self-employment tax on your profit distributions (or a portion if you are taxed as an S-corp.).
