Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
making up a contract
I am in the process of opening a 2nd business location for an associate. I will be soley responsible for running/advertising this businss, she wants a certain percentage of the net profits and I have no idea what is average. She is putting out all monies to start up-I will just run it and network for business for this location. I am giving up my current business to go in with her and I just want to make sure it is fair for everyone, so as not to insult anyone either. Thank you for your help.

Re: making up a contract
I don't know that there is such a thing as "average" in these situations. I would suggest that the two of you meet with a financial planner who can review the whole scenario and make suggestions based on his/her experience.
