Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
My mother rented a unit in a building for a business. When she moved out, three months later, she got a bill from the landlord for $2150 for painting, removing shelving, fixing nail holes, trash (which we removed ourselves) and plumbing. Legally, is she responsible for any of that. Isn't it just normal wear and tear?

That is a factual question that cannot be properly addressed on a forum like this. Additionally, the terms of the lease are going to control. Have your mother speak to a local business attorney.

The answer depends on what she did, and what the lease said and she should see her lawyer.
