Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
Does a non compete entered into Jan 2011, as a base employee cover promotions as well, ie hired as a secretary and now in management or are you required to sign a new non compete with each promotion? This is governed by Georgia law

It might (or might not). No one who has not read your non-compete clause can answer this question. It depends on how it is worded.

Most likely it the non-compete is still in effect (any decent attorney would draft it that way), but, as Mr. Ashman states above, it depends on the terms of the agreement.
