Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

Non-Disclosure Agreement

I have volunteered my business consulting services to help a women's network organization that is posturing itself to go national. I have been asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement; however, there seems to be a non-compete component added. Would this have an adverse impact on my organization that I am representing? Both the organization that I am to volunteer with and mine are involved in business management consulting.

Re: Non-Disclosure Agreement

I'm not sure I understand the relationships of the parties involved, but the non-compete would have an adverse affect on anyone who signs it. It may also affect the related companies if they aid in competition. I would recommend having an attorney review the entire agreement and advise on its affects.

Re: Non-Disclosure Agreement

Without reviewing the documents involved with the two organizations, it is impossible to give you a reliable response. You need to have a local attorney review these docs.
