Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
I paid to park my vehicle at a hotel while going out of town for 1 day. My vehicle was stolen. Is the hotel held liable in any way?

If the hotel did not take proper steps to ensure your vehicle was protected, then the hotel may very well be negligent. Additionally, the hotel may have a higher standard of care than other entities.
In sum, there is a strong likelihood that hotel could be be held liable. I suggest contacting a local civil litigation attorney to further discuss, evaluate, and possibly pursue this matter. Feel free to contact me.
I disagree with Mr. Heidari. In general, such suits fail. You have to show a very high level of negligence to hold a company liable for crimes.
In most cases the answer is simple. In an urban area, everyone should have full insurance coverage. Call your insurer and make a claim.
