About 6 mos ago he went down and took 2 warrents for my arrest. i was picked up by the police. posted bond and went to court. long story short on the 1st charge of theif by taking the da 1st offered 5k plus fines and 5yrs probation i said no the they offered me to pay 10k and they would dismiss the charges all togeather. i said no then they dismissed the charges. the 2nd charge has not come up but it is long the same lines. my ex partner told the courts that he and i had never been in business togeather. i have corp. papers showing we were along with many other things. my question is do i have a leg to stand on to sue my ex partner and is it legal for the da to say ok pay 10k to my ex partner and they will drop all charges. the ex partner has lied so bad trying to get me to pay him and he has used the court to try and do this. since i have been arrested for this i have lost many many clinets i do work for becouse he called them and told them all kinds of lies. i nolonger have any money to fight him and the courts. what should i do and how can i find an att. to help me sue him and get the funds back he has taken HE IS VERY VERY RICH

Call your local bar association. It may take a little time, but you will probably be able to find an attorney who will take your case on a contingent (i.e., percentage) basis.
