personal loans
i went to make a partional payment on my loan payment and was told that since i was a month behind that they couldnt take it. Is that legal?

Just as "legal" as you trying to make a payment for less than the amount you promised to pay. It is a sign that they have declared you in default and are going to take further action to collect (or foreclose or repossess).
