Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
previous employer not paying bills
I was a project mgr. for a small cabinet company- not on the corperate papers, or an officer of any kind- the company was in finiancial trouble due to lack of sales and has many past due bills- some of which I am a signer on the accounts allowing me to order and receive merchandise. If I am no longer employed by this company, can I be held responsible for these company related bills?

Re: previous employer not paying bills
Probably not, if you were signing as an agent for the employer. Consult with a local attorney. You should have the papers you signed reviewed.
