Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
I put in my resignation at Dekalb Medical today my effective date for resignation was February 18 th my supervisor accepted the resignation then asked me to leave today. Does the job have to pay me until February 18th

No. Quitting is generally effective on the spot. Employees who quit do not get to dictate the terms to the employer. Working out a notice period is only by agreement of both parties. It is considerate of you to give them notice, but they don't have to accept it.
