Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

This question is really long and complicated. I will keep it short and simple for now. I need answers and representaion for this situation. I have been an assistant manager for a major retail chain in metro Atlanta for the past 5 years. I have a total of 17 years in with this company over a period of time and I have nohistory of being a problem for the company whatso ever. I feel like I am now working in a hostile environment. I have been told by the store manager that my peers are discussing among themselves my attendance over the past 3 weeks, which was caused by a health condition I have , diabetes. My boss spoke to me on the phone last week and he point blank told me that someone came to him and told him that I was taking "Popping" prescription pills that arent mine, Lortab, while at work. This isnt true, in fact, it is on my medical record, that I am allergic to codeine, which is a major ingredient of Lortab. I was harrased last fall by the store manager and co manager, because I missed 5 or 6 days du to my fiance having sever complications in her pregnancy which caused her to delivery 7 weeks early with my son and put both at risk during pregnancy. Because of malicious gossip, I have lost all respect that I had with my associates I supervise, making me ineffective to my job. Knowinbg my store manager like I do, I am sure that he has fueled all the fires in the store concerning me. There is more.

I took off the past week, pretty mucgh due to stress I have been put under, which has gotten worse. I plan on returning to work wed as scheduled , and turning in my resignation. I need help!

I am not sure from your post what your question is, but if you resign you will disqualify yourself from collecting unemployment.
