Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

have receipt for equipment for invisible fencing, equipment was under waranty, and receipt has a zero balance. Now I get a call from them saying they made a mistake and I owe money? do I leagally have to pay the difference, even though it was their mistake?

Easy solution - If you owe the money based on the agreed upon price (obviously you should know what that is), then be an honest, upstanding person and pay them what you owe. If you mistakenly sent them too much money, would you want them to return the extra money or keep it because it was your mistake?

In addition to Scott's answer, which addresses your moral conduct, legally you may owe it. A mistake in a bill is correctable. So if the receipt does not match the contract, yes they can bill you for the corrected amount under your contract.
