Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

We recently had a breech of contract with a county government. We still contract with the county, but they had no reason to breech this contract. They did so to save themselves money. It was never approved by their board, just stated in the email by the county manager that they were going to perform the services in house. The contract was sighned by the county and not this manager. I don't think they even know this person breeched the contract. We have not approached the county commissioners about this. How should we proceed?

An attorney will need to review the contract that you signed with the County government and the email from the county manager to advise you on your proper course of action. If you would like assistance, please feel free to contact me directly.

We don't know the terms of the contract, regulations of the county that always come with government contracts, whether you can even recover against the county, and the amount at issue if you could. See a business lawyer in the county (who may be familiar with the gov't issues) to discuss if you think it is worth it to proceed. Often this is a risk of doing business with the county and your atty fees could be significant.
