Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
Recently purchased a "fixer upper" house in Fayetteville, Ga. I ordered and received a roll-off dumpster for work scrap. It was payed for the day it was received. As planned, 30 days later it was picked up. Now (some 40 days after pick-up) I received a "lean on my house" notice from another company. It appears that the company I payed subcontracted the container operation to another company and the subcontractor didn't get payed. So they put a lean on my house!!!
I have called both companies to no avail...... any recourse?

You can sue the company that you paid. But tto get rid of the lien you may have to pay twice.
