Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

I recently signed a contract with American Shingle to replace my roof. After looking over it again I noticed that it requires me to sign over my insurance check over to them before any work is complete. I also did more research and found that this company has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. Is there anyway that I can get out of this contract?

The issues you mention are matters that should have been investigated before signing the contract. One does not get out of a contract merely because they did not read the terms, or they find out later it is, or could be, a bad deal. Beyond that, no one here as your contract to see if there is any other reason to terminate the contract.

Maybe, but it's impossible to say based on what you have stated. All the facts, etc., need to be reviewed. Consult with a local attorney.

The answer depends completely on the contract, which we have not read.
