Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

Hi I recently started a job for maximum discovery selling Kirby Vacuums during my interview i told the lady that i have a 15 year old sister and that she has cancer and that I would need time of to take her for her chemotherapy treatments for 3 days for 3 months. I also told them that she was taking a new medication for her cancer that she took on the weekends and since she was just starting the medication i would need time off to watch her and make sure she did not have any side effects from the medication the lady said that would be fine. I worked a week and a half without missing any days and had to miss the rest of that week to take care of my sister which i informed my boss about. I was supposed to get paid $800 9/8/12 but when i called my boss the first day i was giong to be out to inform him again he said i would not be recieving my pay for that period i worked. The week and a half i did work i worked from 9am - 11pm and would drive upwards of 70 miles a day and i had to pay for my own gas is there any way i could be reimbursed for for the gas and what should i do about the $800 that is owed to me?
