Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
Retailer discounts
If a retailer is offering discounted prices to members of a membership group, is it legal for them deny offering discounts to a second membership group? My company has a membership group and while seeking discounts from retailers who are giving discounts to another membership group, we have been told that they are not offering any new partnerships.

Re: Retailer discounts
Retailers generally set the prices and discounts, and terms they choose. For obvious reasons, lawmakers rarely get into such things. Otherwise, they would simply give no one a discount or raise prices accordingly.
