Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

rights release contact

Please advise what type of contract our company needs to provide to an agency that is responsible for generating our company logos and various print literature. We want to make sure the agency does claim right to this material after completion of the project

Re: rights release contact

Rather that try to create a contract from scratch, you should inquire whether the agency has a form of contract (they should). It will be cheaper to have an attorney review and revise their contract than to create a new one. In addition to making sure that you have full ownership of the logo after the project, you may want to impose some confidentiality restrictions on them as well. Frankly, there are many fact details that could give rise to the need for other protections as well, so I highly recommend that you have an attorney help you with this.

Re: rights release contact

There really is no type of contract, but you will need to have some form of a services contract that protects your company, especially regarding its intellectual property.
