Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

I was served with papers on a pay check. I was written a pay check and cashed it and it bounced and now they are coming after me for the check not my boss who wrote me the bad check.

Who is "they?" If you went into a business with a check and walked out with cash (or products), then you are the one who they are going to go after. Your boss didn't take their cash. You are the one who needs to collect from your employer.

When you cash a bad check, you're responsible to pay the people who cashed the check for them. They sued you bnecause you refused to do this. Now you'll owe them court costs too. When you get done paying them, sue your employer (and look for a better job since your employer isn't paying you).
