Is a signed home purchase binding after you have signed it?

Probably, but we don't have it to read to see what the terms are. Assume that anything you sign is binding the instant you sign (since that is usually the case).

Probably, but since you didn't tell us what the contract says, no one here can tell you. Most home contracts are. One should NEVER sign a home contract before seeing a lawyer (it's always a huge mistake), but asking AFTER you sign is pretty useless.

As a Franchise Attorney I agree with the other attorney answers and only add the following. Many people assume that with large ticket contracts, they have a certain period of time to change their minds. That's not the case, unless you happen to be buying a regulated business opportunity. Sign on the line and you're bound, unless the contract provides otherwise. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
