Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

I had signed a 6-months contract with a dance company which requires me to pay $65 monthly fee. However, the director of the company terminated my involvement with the team before the contract expires because I didn't not want to attend a rehearsal which requires me to drive 2 hours in total, even though it was my only absence in the past year (this is the 2nd contract i signed with her), and there's nothing on the contract that says that she could terminate one's involvement with the team if the person did not attend one rehearsal. Do i still need to pay her the monthly fee for the rest of the contract period?

No one here has the contract and you decided to tell us what it does not say, and not what it does say. Beyond that, we don't know what vague references to you and a "team" mean, or what a team has to do wiht the contract. We don't know if you signed for yourself, or for a team. You won't get a meaningful response without all facts.

As a Franchise Attorney I agree entirely with the other attorney answer. You can't expect to get advice about a contract you signed without an attorney first reviewing the entire document. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for a review of the contract.
