Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
My son and his girl friend went to dinner before prom (just the 2 of them). Because there were other parties from prom there, the restaurant charged them a 20% Gratis fee. Is this legal? Two people hit with a $10 fee because they were going to prom.

Sure is. Many restaurants do mandatory gratuities.

Obviously, most restaurants do it. If the complaint is that it should not have applied, that was something to raise with the server or manager at the time.
