Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
I just started a company as 50 percent owner. I have been divorced for 8 years, I have an 11 year old daughter with the ex, the ex have joint legal custody and I am engaged to marry. If I did, would my ex wife be able to any or all of my part of the company for my daughter or would a will that is in place rule the situation?

Your question isn't clearly worded but your ex likely would control your share when you die for your child absent a will and proper business paperwork, so you need a lawyer.

If you did what? A comprehensive buy-sell company agreement and a properly drafted will would allow you to control where your interest in the company would go upon your death or divorce.
