Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

Storage Fee

A car was towed from my shop 1 week ago. I advised the tow company the car was here 2 1/2 weeks and there is a storage fee of $240(2 weeks). the tow guy paid the fee. Now the tow company is requesting their money back because the insurance company will not pay them. The persons who car was totalled was datinig one of my techs. She had the car towed to my shop. They stopped dating so she called the insurance company to pick the car up.

The tow company is threatening to take me to court. Where do I stand legally?

Re: Storage Fee

Generally speaking, a company may not obtain a refund simply because their insurance carrier refused to cover a claim. However, there might be more information that would make such a payment contingent upon coverage or otherwise affect your rights.
