Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

terms of use

I'm starting a website that will be available in a few languages. If I do this, will I also have to translate the terms of use agreement? I'm asking this because the terms of use can be pretty lengthy and human translation can cost big bucks.

Thanks for any help,

Lynn Moore

Re: terms of use

There is no requirement that the terms be in any specific language. Whether the user speaks the language of the terms might have an effect on whether they will be held to the terms. A person who can't read the terms cannot understand and agree to them. However, it would probably be reasonable to simply have the terms in English and any other language you have on the website geenrally.
