Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

Unwanted goods

Hello,

I recently signed a contract in a tradefair based on false infomation the seller gave to me. I wanted to buy the machine off him rather than leasing but he told me it will cost over 10,000 euro to buy it, then the option of leasing became attractive. he was meant to send the product to be after a week. the next day i called him to to instruct him not to go on with the transaction after i found out that the product sells for only 800 dollars.

he still went ahead to send it to me, insisting that i cannot pullout until 5 years time. my montly payment is meant to be 240 dollars for 5 years. Please what can i do?

Re: Unwanted goods

There is not enough information to answer the question. What does the lease agreement say? Where are you and the vendor located?

Re: Unwanted goods

You would need to have a local attorney review the contract to determine which state laws would apply. Then, have an attorney licensed in that state, if different, review the contract and advise you. There are too many potential variables we don't know from your posting.

If you would like to discuss any issues further, please feel free to contact my office. My contact information is below. Thank you.
