Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
I have a vendor that sent me damaged merchandise and I refused to pay her the 50% that I owe in full, can they file a criminal case on me by doing that? What are y rights? They are located outside the US.

As a Franchise Attorney I can tell you anyone can try to file anything. The issue is will it stick. This is a contract action, not a criminal action. If the facts are as you state, you're the one that should be suing to collect the 50% you already paid. Lacking that, you should tell them if they're willing to refund the 50% paid, you're willing to return the damaged goods. Either party trying to pursue the other in their respective countries - all I can say is good luck, it's a tough road to go down. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
