Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
verbal contract case?
I entered into a verbal contract with a company and they agreed to pay me $850 for my services. I only received a check for $500 and I had to call every day for 4 months to get that. The only thing written was a quote that I emailed which is timestamped showing the services to be rendered and the amount which is to be paid. Do I have a case?

Re: verbal contract case?
You may want to pursue the matter in Small Claims Court, provided that your e-mail was sent before the company asked you to go ahead and perform the services. Make sure that you include your e-mail in the documents that you file with the court.
