Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

Verification answer

I have sued my prior employer in small claims court. The answer/countersuit that was sent by certified mail to my home by the registerd agent of the company was not notarized. It was only shown to have a stamp on the top of the page stating ''copy''. My question is should this copy that was mailed to me be notarized or I believe another name for this is called a verified answer? If so, would it be helpful in my case upon presentation to the judge to mention the answer was not notarized. I have been told that legally it should be notarized, and if it is not the defendants really do not have a case. Thanks.

Re: Verification answer

The Answer/Counterclaim does not have to be either verified or notarized.
