Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
I'm wondering the law on business to process and charge debit card purchases, my bank, Suntrust, told me it is usually the law charges have to be processed within 7 days. I attended a concert at verizon wireless amphitheater on May 8th, charged multiple things to my debit card. one charge was processed that week. four other charges were processed on july 1st, over drafting my account by a little over $250, What should i do?

The first and most important thing you should do is not be negligent in keeping up with your own finances. How could your account be overdrawn if you knew you spent the money? You overdrew the account. That is no one else's fault. As far as the date of the charges, we don't know when the merchant or their card processor transmitted the information to your bank. If you are looking for someone else to blame for your failure to keep up with your checkbook, it won't work.
I suggest you take a financial management course and repay your bank for the overdraft.
