Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

I worked for a import/ export company and eventually took ownership and CEO title, nothing was ever put on paper as far as my employment or ownership. I found out that the company was planning on canceling our distribution Deal so I took my money from my account and transferred the vehicles to my name. They are demanding both back but they were purchased by me and the bank account had only myself on it but was still owned by the corp. I was listed as CEO, coo and CFO with the state

You have created a huge mess by not ever seeing a lawyer.

In your post you have confessed to serious felonies - embezzlement, theft by conversion, fraud, etc. You could spend many years in prison. Get a very good criminal lawyer and plan to return the cars.

Since your post is on the internet and can be easily search, a prosecutor and the company may both find the post and use it against you in court.

When you do get out of prison, and next want to go into business, do written contracts and have a lawyer review them, and don't think about stealing from the corporation the next time.

As Mr. Ashman states, you may have committed a criminal offense by taking the money and property. And even if not, you may have created liability by failing to act on behalf of the company's best interest as an officer. The ultimate result will depend on what exactly was agreed to, and what exactly your rights were regarding the company. See a local business attorney right away.
