Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
wrongful termination
i was wondering if ga law permits an employer to fire an employee on the grounds of ''unacceptable background check'' if the employee wrote on the application that yes they had a felony and was still hired?

Re: wrongful termination
Absent a contract, most employment is "at will," meaning you can be terminated for any or no reason (with very few exceptions apparently not relavent here). Conversely, the law "permits" employees to quit for any or no reason.
