Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia

Hi, im 19 in a couple of months i will be 20. my girlfriend is 16, her parents dont like the idea that we love each other ut we decided to still go out without telling them. and i want to know if its illegal for me to go out with her?? or can her parents do anything about it??

Sure, they can. She is 16 and they make the rules. They can also try to see that you face charges for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Obviously, you have no respect for this child or her family relationships. If you believe that a child of 16, who has to deceive her parents, is in "love" with you to justify getting what you want, you may find it does not turn out well for either of you.
