90 Day Rule

my dad and step mom gave me some furniture as a house warming gift , in feburary 2004 , my dad and brother are in a court battle i have choosen to side with my brother on this fight , now the day after there court hearing , they called me and demanded i return the furniture that they gave me in feburary 2004 , it is now october 23 2004 . they say there not finishing payment on it threw the furniture company , and they want to come get it , what do i do . there mad at me and want to take it back , do i have to give it back or just ignore them?

Assuming no other fact, you are under no obligation to return the gift because of the court battle. If they don't pay the furniture company, it will be their problem. Of course, it may not be worth keeping the furniture.
