Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia
I bought my vehicle on Feb 5 and till this day I have not receive my title. I keep calling the used dealership and they tell me that the DMV has not process the application and the other response I got was that the bank has not release the title. I know that this car has no lien. Well I called the DMV and ask them if they receive an application. I gave them the VIN number and they say no. No application has been submitted. What can I do? This is going for 2 months now

You have purchased a car from a criminal. It is a crime to sell a car and not transfer title. A dealer, unless he is lazy or a criminal, can get a title in one day. Call the manager at the dealer and tell him you plan to turn him in for prosecution unless he hand delivers a title to you within 48 hours.
If he fails to do so, contract the Georgia State office of Consumer Affairs and make a complaint. Additionally make a complaint throiugh your local prosecutor. And consider getting a lawyer to sue the dealer.
No reputable dealer will take over 30 days to get you a title, and a dealer that takes anywhere near that long is frankly lazy.
